Ruthanne & Omar

I had another beautiful fall wedding to be a part of last weekend and I could not have had more fun with this amazing couple. It's always bittersweet for me when a wedding ends because I spend so much time learning about them - their friends and family and the love they are sharing on such a momentous occasion. So when the day comes to an end it is a little sad that it is all over for me even though it is the just beginning for the couple. Ruthanne and Omar are no exception - they could not have been a sweeter couple and Ruthanne was such a beautiful bride! Here are a few of my favorite pictures.

I love beginnings of weddings, especially when the bride walks to her groom for the first time. It is such a meaningful time and I just love photographs from this angle.

DJ Webb was the dj for the reception at this wedding and he was fantastic! The party just did not want to stop...even the bride got into the groove. Check out his website:

Anna & Steven

Last weekend I took pictures of Anna & Steven on a gorgeous fall morning. I ran into Anna at a wedding I was photographing which was so funny because we went to high school together in TN. Now we found each other living not to far apart which is so fun! Anyway, although Anna & Steven were already married, Anna decided she wanted to re-create this special day in photographs from the place her husband proposed - Red Top Mountain. Their anniversary was last weekend and I'm so glad that they let me share this time with them. It was so much fun to reconnect with Anna and to talk about the upcoming football games with Stephen. Hope you enjoy these!

Justin & Julia

Last Saturday I had the honor of being a part of Justin & Julia's wedding. What a great day it was...the weather could not have been more beautiful and the bride and groom could not have been more fun and relaxed which makes my job so easy! We had a lot of fun taking pictures on Saturday and I wish nothing but happiness for these two...even if the groom is a Georgia fan (Go Vols!...that's for you Julia!)

This is probably one of my favorite pictures from their wedding. Not only is it a special officiant/groom moment, it is also a father/son moment that I think really captures the sacred moments in this ceremony.

The pastor is also the pastor for the church my husband and I attend. Check out the website!

Julia's Bridal Portraits

Julia & Justin's big day was this past weekend and while I am still working on their wedding day pictures I thought I would post some of Julia's Bridal portraits. Julia looked just as beautiful on her wedding day as she did the day we took these pictures. One of the reasons I so love taking pictures of Julia is that she is a dancer so her free spirit really came thru while taking these pictures. I can't wait to post the wedding pics!!!
