Eric Shanteau - My Olympic Hero

There is not a single person who loves the Olympics more than I do. I ljust ove the idea of the world coming together and showing off the best of the best. But I am especially loving it this year! Last September I was honored to take Ryan & Hayley Shanteau's wedding pictures. Ryan's brother just happens to be Eric Shanteau who is swimming for the US Swim Team in Beijing. Eric is a true inspiration to me because although he is an incredible swimmer he is also a hero battling testicular cancer. I know Hayley through Camp Sunshine, an organization that sends children with cancer to summer camp and Eric is truly a hero for these kids to look up to.

Jackie & John Engagements

Tonight I met Jackie & John at Marietta Square for some engagement pictures. John is a good friend of mine from Berry College so it was fun to catch up with him. Jackie is this extremely fun compliment to John and together they just make such a beautiful couple. They are getting married on Saturday so we had to do the engagements while they are still engaged!

This pictures just makes me smile. I feel like this is a picture they should keep around for when they get mad at each other so they can laugh instead :).

08.08.08 - Melissa & George

George & Melissa were married this Friday on 8.8.08 and one of the first things George said to me when I got to the wedding was "It's 88 degrees"! It was a very rare, beautiful August evening at the Carlyle House in Norcross, GA. Melissa just has an incredibly infectious smile and her and George just made pictures so much fun because of how genuinely happy they were to be getting married!

I love them seeing each other for the first time - they were super cute!

I also really love this pictures because there is so much going on but George is just holding hands, staring at his beautiful bride!

So, I usually post the pictures of the first kiss but I just loved Melissa's smile right after...

Brittany & Greg Engagements

Last night I met Brittany & Greg for engagement pictures in Jasper, GA at Greg's farm. Saying it is beautiful out there would be a complete understatement! Brittany & Greg were also just about the cutest couple I have ever seen and the animals just loved them. The first two pictures are a little repetitive but it was so funny to watch the horse make his way over to us and get right in the picture...he was ready for his close up!





She's so happy...





After we left the farm we went over to Greg's church to take a few quick pictures.



These next two pictures are also very similar but I liked them both so I thought it couldn't hurt to post both :)



From the church we went over to the lake where they will be getting married next June!
