Mackenzie & Joe

Yesterday was a wonderful day as one of my best friends in the world celebrated her pregnancy! Mackenzie and Joe are expecting their first child in February - a precious little girl whose name will be Kenzlee Ann. Here are a few maternity pictures that we took as well as a few pictures from the shower. Mackenzie's sister Shannon is also in a few of the pictures.

The party favors for the shower were pink & white M&M's from the Susan G. Komen foundation for breast cancer. They had Kenzlee's name on them as well!

Christmas Preparations & Decorations

Today I was enjoying wrapping Christmas presents and putting the finishing touches on decorating our dining room table when I thought about how beautiful everything looked all spread out with vibrant Christmas colors. So, I did what most photographers do and I pulled out my camera to capture this somewhat ordinary scene but one still worth capturing. Of course, I had to include a few of my precious puppy Peter who was a little bored with all of this!

Pictures With Santa

I love this time of year - the Christmas music, Santa Claus, candy canes and yes even the shopping. But I've been so busy this year that I think I forgot to stop and enjoy the sounds of the season and all the majic that Santa brings. Well, this past Sunday I really started to get into the joy of Christmas with Terry Burger & Associates' Pictures with Santa. What other realtor does this kind of thing for clients? Greer & Joe

Greer & Joe were the second couple I photographed on Sunday in Athens. We headed to Broad Street to take some family pictures with their sweet little puppy dog, Libby. I had to suck it up for a few of these pictures as a University of Tennessee fan but I will admit that my first trip to Athens & UGA was a very pleasant one and I had no idea the campus was so beautiful. We had so much fun catching up...I love taking pictures of this couple!

This is probably my favorite picture from today. I just love all of the colors in this picture and the way that the leaves are falling against them!!!

Katie & David Engagements

Katie & David were the first of two photography sessions in Athens, GA this weekend for me. We had a great time at the Athens Botanical Gardens and I so appreciate this couple's love of history. From the engagement ring to the location they chose you can just tell how much meaning they both find in the historical significance of the perfectly planned details of their journey together to become husband and wife. I really enjoyed spending time with this wonderful couple and I am looking forward to their wedding in May!
